My thoughts:
To Laugh Once More is the second book in Sherri Wilson Johnson's Hope of the South series. I loved the first book, To Dance Once More, and was looking forward to this read...and it didn't disappoint.
The story had a lot more angst than I expected and that made me want to keep reading to see if everything would end up for the best. I found the characters to be endearing and the writing was great.
I liked the ending and I definitely plan on reading the next book, When Love Must Wait, as soon as possible. I recommend this series, but be sure to read the books in order as I think it is important with this one. A very good read!
